    You need a ticket to travel on any public transport in Sydney (other than the Sydney CBD Free 555 bus). As an international student you must NOT buy a concession ticket. Concession tickets are for local students only. If you are caught with a concession ticket you may be fined over $200.

    Depending on your accommodation preference annual living costs for Sydney are between $12,000 - $18,000 not including study. For example: Monthly mobile phone costs $40 - Take away coffee $4, a beer will cost you $7, rent a surfboard $30 per day, cinema tickets from $12. Sydney may not be cheap, but it's worth it!
