Dr. Kaushik Sridhar, FGIA GAICD, is an award-winning sustainability expert with over 19 years of experience in senior ESG roles across industries, including Evolution Mining, KPMG, EY, Regis Healthcare, and Unisys. He is the Founder & CEO of Orka Advisory, a boutique advisory firm that helps organisations locally and globally implement impactful sustainability and ESG strategies.
With a PhD from Macquarie University, Kaushik is recognised as a thought leader in corporate sustainability, regularly lecturing at universities, delivering keynotes, and contributing to global sustainability forums. In 2023, he was awarded ESG Impact Leader of the Year. He is also a TEDx speaker and brand ambassador for several organisations.

This course provides participants with a focused introduction to the fundamentals of climate reporting in Australia. It covers both current and upcoming legislative requirements, including the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) and the global context with frameworks like ISSB. Participants will be introduced to key climate-related concepts such as greenhouse gas emissions, physical and transition climate risks, and the governance structures that support effective climate reporting.
The course will delve into the essential pillars of climate and sustainability reporting—governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets. It will also explore the different types of climate-related risks that businesses face and how these risks can affect operations, strategy, and financial performance.
