This qualification builds key skills in areas such as managing cyber security risks, using introductory programming techniques and resolving client IT problems. The Certificate IV in Information Technology can be a great choice if you’re new to studying to IT, looking for entry-level IT jobs or seeking a pathway to a Diploma of IT. On the other hand, the Diploma of Information Technology builds more specialised skills in web development while also developing your IT knowledge in other areas. For example, it builds skills in virtual computing environments, database management, mobile applications and dynamic websites. This course takes 18 months to complete.
