Welcome to the ACBI student hub, your central space for managing your studies and staying connected with college life. Here you can access your learning platforms and student portal, find the key student forms you may need during your course, and check term and class timetables so you can plan ahead.

Access Canvas

(Certificate IV in Health Administration students only)

If you’re studying for a Certificate IV in Health Administration, you can view all your learning and assessment materials on Canvas. 

Access your short course 

If you’re studying a short course, refer to the onboarding information provided by ACBI’s academic team for details on accessing your learning materials and any relevant workshops.

Academic calendar and timetable

Planning your studies is easier when you have your timetable in one spot. In this section, you can view information on study period and holiday dates. You’ll also find the latest schedules for on-campus classes and online support sessions.

Academic calendar 

View ACBI’s academic calendar to see the details of on-campus term dates and term breaks along with online intake dates. You’ll also be able to see information on NSW public holidays that impact our on-campus classes and ACBI teams.

Note: For information on your assessment due dates, please refer to the relevant units in Moodle, Canvas and/or your study plan.

On-campus class timetables

If you’re studying a qualification at ACBI’s Sydney campus (e.g., a Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Graduate Diploma course), make sure you take a look at the latest on-campus class timetable. It’s a good idea to review it at the start of each term.

Note: For information on which classroom your on-campus class will be held in, please refer to your learning platform (Moodle or Canvas).

Timetables for online support sessions (for students studying 100% online)

If you’re studying a qualification (e.g., a Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Graduate Diploma course) in a 100% online format, you have access to regular online support sessions with your trainer. View our timetable to see what day and time your support session is.

Please note: For specific details on how to access your online support sessions, log into your relevant learning platform (Moodle or Canvas). Within each unit you can find key information on your support sessions, including Zoom links you can use to access them.

A note for students studying short courses or undertaking corporate training

For information on accessing your short course, including any relevant learning management systems or workshops, please refer to the onboarding email you received from the ACBI team.

If you’re a manager in charge of overseeing your organisation’s corporate training with ACBI, we’re more than happy to assist with any questions you have regarding training timeframes and schedules. Simply reach out to your ACBI Account Manager or fill out this form to get in touch.

Orientation information

Whether you’re new to studying or continuing your learning journey, orientation is your first step into ACBI. At orientation you’ll receive key information that will assist and guide you during your studies. From general information about student life, logins, essential resources and contacts– orientation will cover it all. To see our upcoming orientation dates, check out our Academic Calendar.

On-campus orientation

Our on-campus orientation is generally held on Wednesday one week before the term start date. It covers everything you need to get started at ACBI, including key academic information, important contacts, emergency procedures, fee details and upcoming events. After the session, there will be pizza, drinks and a student mixer at Sidebar, giving you a chance to meet other new students and make connections before classes begin. You will also receive a welcome pack with an ACBI tote bag and notebook.

Online orientation

If you are studying a qualification online (e.g., a Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Graduate Diploma course) or cannot attend our on-campus orientation, you will receive an onboarding email. This email contains all the information you need to get started with ACBI. It includes key details about your learning platforms and available support services, including trainer contact information. If you are studying a qualification in a flexible 100% online format, you will also receive a study plan with recommended unit timeframes. If you have any questions about starting your qualification online, please contact studentsupport@acbi.edu.au. 

Short course students

If you are studying a short course with ACBI, you will receive an onboarding email with details of how to access any relevant learning platforms and workshops. Depending on your short course, and whether you are completing an optional unit of competency, your onboarding email may also include facilitator details, assessment timeframes, online support sessions and other information.

If you’re studying a qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Graduate Diploma course) in a 100% online study format, you have access to weekly trainer support sessions, where you can ask questions, get personalised guidance and receive feedback on assessments. You’ll also have 24/7 access to your learning materials, you can study anytime, anywhere and design a study experience that truly works for you. 

All online and on-campus students can boost their professional skills and resumes by joining our free online workshops, events and webinars. Follow our Instagram broadcast channel and keep an eye on your email for more details on specific events.

Tuition Fees & Funding 

Flexible Payment Options 

Need help managing your fees? You can manage your course fees with smaller instalments over a longer period. Selected courses also offer funding options to make your studies more manageable. If you need assistance or have questions about your payments, please contact myfees@acbi.edu.au. 

Government Funding 

Current students may be eligible for government funding such as Smart and Skilled on selected courses. To check if your course qualifies, please reach out to one of our Course Advisors.

Employer Funded Learning 

If you’re completing your course as part of your professional development, consider whether your employer can support your learning. We can provide course details, learning outcomes, and other documents to assist with employer funding applications. Get in touch with our Domestic Course Advisors to find out more.
