Domestic Students
To enter this course as a microcredential and receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment, you’ll need:

To have completed Australian Year 11 (or equivalent)

Be at least 17 years of age

Have technological literacy (ability to use and access a computer with word processing applications)

By studying this short course, you’ll build your understanding of how to use multimodal AI chatbots and more specific AI tools for AI prompt engineering. This includes tools such as:

Do I need a background in IT or coding to enrol in this course?

Not at all. This course has been designed to be studied by people without IT backgrounds. You don’t need any coding or other advanced technical skills to enrol in this course. You simply need an internet connection, access to a computer and a willingness to try a range of no-code AI tools. If you’re currently working in a business role (or hope to do so soon), this might be a good fit for you.

What kind of projects or assessments will I complete?

Each assessment consists of some short-answer knowledge questions and a series of practical tasks. You may use case studies for your practical tasks. Or, if you’re currently working, you’ll have the option of applying your assessments to your workplace. Your Trainer will be on hand to guide you through each assessment. By the end of your assessments, you’ll have a range of practical examples that you can share with your current or future employers.

How long does it take to complete the course?
