Safety & Emergency

Your safety is important to us.

We want to make sure that you are prepared to respond to any emergencies that may occur at any time. If you see something that may cause harm to yourself or others please say something. Mutual care is an important step in maintaining a safe campus.

In the case of an emergency, it’s important that you are able to respond to evacuation procedures. During Orientation Day, you will be briefed on the emergency exits and instructions. While members of our staff are trained in First Aid, it is still imperative that you familiarise yourself with evacuation procedures to keep yourself and others safe.

If you require additional support, free Counselling is available through Jansen Newman Institute, located at Pyrmont Street.
